Tractor Drive Tyre
Rear or all-wheel drive tractor tyre with an R1-class lug pattern, specified from axle load, working speed and soil type. Now usually chosen with road mileage in mind as well as field pull.
Features
- Angled lugs that clear soil as the tyre rotates, with lug spacing chosen for the soil's stickiness.
- R1 for general conditions, R1W with roughly 20 per cent deeper lugs for wet and heavy soils.
- Available in increased and very high flexion constructions for the same load at lower pressure.
- Rounded shoulders and a stiffer belt on patterns intended for high road mileage.
- Rolling circumference stated so front and rear fitments can be matched on four-wheel-drive machines.
