Moly-Fortified Pin and Bush Grease
Heavy grease with molybdenum disulphide for excavator and loader pins, bucket linkages, king pins and slow pivots carrying shock load.
Features
- The solid lubricant stays on the surface when the oil film is squeezed out, which is exactly what happens in a slow, heavily loaded pin.
- Higher base oil viscosity than a general-purpose grease, chosen for load rather than for speed.
- Tacky formulations resist being thrown off exposed linkages and pushed out by water.
- Not suitable for fast-running bearings, where the solid content adds drag and heat without benefit.
- Usually applied on a short interval, so pack format and gun compatibility matter as much as the formulation.
