Universal tractor transmission oils and the wider grades that cover transmission, hydraulics, wet brakes and final drives from one fill on agricultural and site tractors.
Features
- One fluid serving transmission, hydraulics and wet brakes reduces the number of oils a mixed yard has to hold.
- Wet brake friction is a specified property: the wrong oil makes brakes either grab or slip, and both are reported as a brake fault.
- Universal grades that also cover the engine exist, and they trade some engine performance for simplicity; they suit older machines rather than current ones.
- Hydraulic performance in these fluids is adequate for tractor circuits and not a substitute for a dedicated hydraulic oil in a high-pressure piston system.
- Check which parts of the machine the manual actually includes in the universal fill, as it varies between builders.
