Features
- Holds its structure in the presence of water instead of emulsifying and washing out, which is the failure mode of most general-purpose greases in wet work.
- Provides rust protection to the surfaces it stays on, which matters where a machine stands wet between shifts.
- Naturally load carrying, so it performs well on slow, heavily loaded pins without a large additive package.
- Higher cost per kilogram than lithium complex, usually recovered in bearing life on wet applications.
- Not compatible with every thickener, so a changeover means purging the point until clean grease shows.
